The 8th Annual Edition of The Children Are Crying Calendar is an evolution of last year's "Vote for the Hood" theme. Building off of the historic election of President Barak Obama, we encouraged the reader to cast their ballot for change in the lives of our children.
This year's theme, "From Kings to Thugs to Presidents" examines the journey we have taken since the beginning of time; from being born of royalty, to the downfall of our inner city communities, to the hope that the Presidency brings.
Our intent is to remind us of from whence we came, acknowledge the perils at hand, and shine a light on the path to brighter tomorrows.

OUR MISSION
FLOOD THE HOOD WITH DREAMS provides a forum that nurtures life changing breakthroughs that allow both children and adults to let go of the traumatic experiences in their past that inhibit them from realizing their dreams. The program was created by motivational speakers Muhibb Dyer & Kwabena Antoine Nixon, in an effort to guide participants through the loss of purpose so many of them feel in our current environment.
